“My House Is a Mess and So Am I”
Dear Infinity,
Every time I clean the house, it’s a disaster again within hours. I can’t keep up. I step on LEGOs daily. Laundry multiplies like rabbits. I feel like I live in a Pinterest fail.
Please tell me I’m not the only one. And also… send help. Or a maid. Or wine.
— Mess in Distress
Dear Mess in Distress,
You are absolutely not the only one. I call this season of life “creative chaos” — and friend, you’re smack in the middle of it.
Pinterest lies. Real homes look lived in. Real moms have crumbs in their couch and unmatched socks that go wherever missing bobby pins live.
It’s okay to have a messy home and still be doing an amazing job. The mess doesn’t mean you’re failing — it means you’re living.
But just in case, I’m mentally sending you a maid, a glass of wine, and a moment of peace on a quiet couch with no toys under it.
Messy but magical,
Infinity
